Gail Scheuring
About me:
I spent my formative years in small town Alberta, Canada. In 1992 I moved to Edmonton, Alberta and attended Grant Mac Ewan College, majoring in Visual Communications. After receiving my Graphic Design Diploma, I turned my focus to painting and art history. In June 2010, I graduated with distinction from the University of Lethbridge with a B.F.A in Art History and Museum studies.

Beyond my studies, I have exhibited in solo and group exhibits in New York, Western and Eastern Canada, Bulgaria and France. My works are in private and public collections at the Alberta (Alberta Foundations for the Arts), the U.S. (International Museum of Collage Art), Japan and the U.K.

In 2009 -2010 I opened POST exhibit, an exhibition space located in Art Central in Calgary, AB. This was a self directed curatorial project giving selected artists solo exhibitions.

I currently live in a small community just outside of Calgary, Alberta, with my husband, son, and daughter.
